The EarthLinks Workshop:
The EarthLinks Workshop program is a micro-economic development project created by EarthLinks for people who are homeless and low-income. Using plants grown in our garden, participants design and create Earth-friendly products while earning a stipend for their work. Participants learn skills, engage in meaningful work for a modest wage, share companionship, gain increased confidence and self-esteem, connect with nature’s beauty, and raise Earth consciousness.
Who?
- Adults who are homeless, recently homeless or low-income (below $10,000/yr)
- Priority is given to people who are presently homeless with no income who are currently unemployed, want to gain skills, work in a group setting, and work toward positive life changes
- People who appreciate nature’s beauty and find enjoyment in gardening and creating craft products from Earth’s bounty
What?
- Learn to grow, harvest and press flowers and design items for sale
- Develop your creativity
- Get to know & cooperate with a wide variety of people
- Learn new skills and gain new perspectives on life
- Set life-improvement goals and gain support to work towards them
When?

- Participants attend a Tuesday or Thursday workshop from 9:15-11:45 AM at the EarthLinks Office: 2828 Larimer Street, Denver Co 80205
