GreenFingers Project:
GreenFingers is a micro-economic development program created by EarthLinks to benefit homeless and low-income persons. Participants grow plants in our GreenFingers Peace garden, & then use the garden’s abundance to create products available for sale. These participants earn a modest wage, acquire job skills, enhanced socialization, higher self- esteem, & an opportunity to appreciate natural beauty and enjoy a sense of accomplishment.
Who?
- Adult men and women who are homeless, recently homeless or low-income (below $10,000/yr)
- Priority is given to homeless people with no income who are currently unemployed, want to get job skills, work in a group setting, and prepare for future work options
- Willing to create products from pressed flowers
What?
- Learn to harvest and press flowers and design items for sale
- Develop your creativity
- Get to know & cooperate with a wide variety of people
- Learn pre-employment skills
- Set life-improvement goals and gain support to work towards them
When?

Begin with a 3 week orientation (Call Julie at 303-389-0085) for dates of our next orientation

- Participants attend a Tuesday or Thursday workshop from 9:15-11:45 AM at the EarthLinks Office: 2828 Larimer Street, Denver Co 80205
