On  September 22 and 24, volunteer Clara Morris led canning workshops at EarthLinks with seven GreenFingers participants. Read on after the jump for more details and some wonderful pictures!The group learned about the process of canning fruits and vegetables as well as the importance of storing produce from our garden for the winter. Recipes written on large posters lined the walls, guiding the group to canning “Bread and Butter” Pickled Zucchini, Dill Pickles, Zesty EarthLinks Salsa, and fresh organic peaches. This workshop required lots of hard work and patience, but the results were wonderful! Thanks, Clara, for sharing your expertise!
